Do you need to notarize a last will and testament document?

I have done a last will and testament. I had 3 witnesses signed. Do I need to have it notarized ? If not notarize, is this document consider legal? I lived in state of New York. I download this document from the website.

Without a notarized set of signatures, someone may choose to challenge the validity of the signatures.

I’d have it redone; especially since this is a do it yourself and not checked by a lawyer
